The World Organization for Al-Azhar Graduates condemns the terrorist attack a Quran recitation gathering in central Afghanistan, leaving at least 15 people killed and 20 others injured.
The Organization mentioned, in a statement, that attacking innocent souls is one of the gravest sins as Allah Almighty prohibited killing them. It also threatened the one who sheds blood, violates the sanctity of money or terrorizes peaceful people to receive punishment in the world and hereafter. Allah Almighty says "Do not slay the life which Allah has made sacred, except rightfully." [Q. 17:33]
Moreover, the statement asked:  After witnessing all these heinous crimes that result in the death of women, children, worshippers and Quran reciters, Is there anyone who can be fooled by them thinking that these criminal actions belong to Islam or any other religion?
At the end of the statement, it extended its sincere condolences to the families of the victims, wished the injured speedy recovery and asked Allah to protect the whole world of the horrors from extremism and terrorism.
