The World Organization for al-Azhar Graduates condemned the terrorist blast that took place on a roadside in Kabul and targeted First Vice-President Amrullah Saleh; however, he survived.
The Organization stressed in its statement that the assaults carried out by the terrorist groups are the greatest and dreadful sins ever, as Allah Almighty says: "And whoever slays a believer deliberately, his requital is Hell, abiding therein, and Allah is wroth with him and has cursed him, and has prepared for him a mighty chastisement". [Q:4:93]. Again, Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) stated in such vein: "Avoid the seven destructive things." It was asked: (by those present): "What are they, O Messenger of Allah?" He replied, "Associating anyone or anything with Allah in worship, killing of someone without a just cause whom Allah has forbidden". [Narrated by: al-Bukhari and Muslim].
The Organization concluded its statement by praying to Allah Almighty to protect the world against the atrocities of terrorism and extremism.
