The World Organization for al-Azhar Graduates WAAG confirmed that ISIS’s video entitled "and you will not hurt Him anything" is an evidence of its debacle. They desperately endeavor to instill fear and terror among the leaders and presidents of the world. WAAG pointed out that ISIS tries to recall their glories to return once again to the scene through bloodthirstiness and brutality.
In its statement WAAG said, commenting on ISIS’s video, that ISIS created an illusion to show the world that it is still cohesive, blamed its escaped followers, tried to keep the rest of them and sought to recruit new members.
WAAG stressed that ISIS faces heavy toll on its members daily. Furthermore, there are confirmed reports that ISIS members have escaped, especially the foreign members. WAAG added that ISIS’s video, which is full of bloody scenes, proved the rooted doctrinal flawed ISIS thought: they singled themselves out as the one and only representatives of Islam; and their supporters and followers are Muslims whereas their dissidents are infidels. Moreover, ISIS thinks that integration under the group is a sign of Allah’s satisfaction. However, the following Hadith of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) applied to them: "Whosoever from my followers attacks my followers (indiscriminately) killing the righteous and the wicked of them, sparing not (even) those staunch in faith and fulfilling not his obligation towards them who have been given a pledge (of security), is not from me".
The statement clarified that ISIS group faces many challenges after its defeats in many territories in Iraq and Libya which the group took over since 2014. The statement added that ISIS is in its death throes- an inevitable destiny. The Group is going through the most difficult stage since its inception after the sharp decline in the pace of recruiting new fighters and attracting them.
Not to mention that WAAG's statement mentioned that ISIS suffers from unwillingness of media to air its brutal crimes and moving away from its pattern that became no longer attractive to its supporters who escape from joining it out of fear of its crackdown and lack of confidence.
The statement warned of lone wolf terrorist attacks during this year, since there is a study of Maryland University that confirmed that ISIS was the most deadly terrorist organization in the world during 2016, in spite of the losses of fighters and territories in Syria and Iraq, where it carried out more than 1400 attacks and killed more than 7,000 people which represents an increase of 20% than 2015, although there is a decline in the total number of the terrorist attacks worldwide and the number of deaths by 10% in 2016.
WAAG's statement concluded with a call to the world to take collective action to defeat ISIS terrorist organization considering the swift decline from the pinnacle to the pit of disruption and disintegration.
